My name is Heather and I'm a southern girl in my late twenties. My husband and I met in high school and have been married for almost six years. I graduated from GSU with a business degree and have since worked several exciting jobs, including my own event planning business. While I still do a few parties for friends and family, my main focus is being a stay-at-home mom to our almost one year old daughter. It's the toughest job I've ever had and the pay is terrible, but the benefits are well worth it.
In addition to spending time with our family, I love to write, take pictures, and organize things. I also like to entertain, shop, and travel to new places and old favorites. I only halfway enjoy exercising and cooking, but I still put forth the effort when I can.
This site is about my adventures in all of those areas and more. My goal is to encourage you, offer some tips, and spark conversations. If nothing else, maybe it will give you a reason to put off doing the laundry for five more minutes.
